We hit GLEIF live for LEI lookups; other registry types queue for manual verification.

What we verify. If you supply an LEI we hit the GLEIF public API live; on a match we confirm your entity is ACTIVE and registered in the jurisdiction you entered. If you supply a local registry number we accept it in the right format and queue it for verification against Handelsregister.de (DE), KvK (NL), Sirene (FR), BCE (BE), LBR (LU), or Firmenbuch (AT).
